so i'm a massive fan of contemporary YA books. lately, i've been more into books without a 'happily ever after' type of ending, opting for the more realistic, fitting-everyday types instead. but the second i read the synopsis for TWEET CUTE, i just knew i had to read it.

and i'm so glad i did.

it's cute, fluffy, fulfills the enemies-to-lovers trope perfectly, introduces family relationships and drama, amazing food (& especially dessert!), and the typical school drama we all expect.

it's lighthearted, it's fun, it's everything wonderful and perfect wrapped up in sarcastic tweets, Kitchen Sink Macaroons and Monster Cakes, and grilled cheese sandwiches. this book is one i will definitely buy as soon as it hits stores in 2020, because it's just so damn perfect and cute. i need a paperback copy.

i adore Pepper and who she is as a character, strong as well as having the ability to own up to her faults, she's refreshingly real and i love her relationships with all of the other characters. i adored seeing her friendship go from hesitant probably frenemies to actual friends with a certain character, and her flirtations with Jack.

"it's weird, how you have no idea how far you've come until suddenly you can't find the way back."

speaking of Jack . . . my sweet baby. god i love him.

there can't be a better, more adorable cute contemporary book than TWEET CUTE. PepperJack is just adorable and i heart them. so fucking much, you guys.

the right amount of seriousness was sprinkled throughout the book, with tons of humour. it's a wonderful book and i easily read it all within one sitting. (seriously i started and finished it yesterday!)

and godddddddd, i loved the references to memes and all the popular pop culture references. i loved the banter. i am enamoured with their relationship and can't get over just how damn cute everything is.

it's totally a 5 out of 5 star rating.

you need need need NEEEEEEEEED to add TWEET CUTE to your tbr pile. i promise you won't be disappointed.
