A few days ago, J and I went to ‘Where the Pancakes Are’ for brunch during our little staycation. It was a lovely getaway, and having brunch at this place was pretty good, especially considering I could tick off a restaurant on my list after months. So. Happy.

The Aviary
Two days before my birthday (24/08/2020), Nahima and I went to The Aviary for a pre-birthday dinner celebration. We thought that, like usual, we were running late but thankfully we arrived with a minute to spare.
Busaba Eathai
i think the Eat Out to Help Out scheme is, honestly, so amazing and something that should continue beyond august. this particular 50% off deal helps to get a lot of companies back on their feet. today, i went to Busaba Eathai with Nahima, in Westfield Stratford. it’s an absolutely gorgeous Thai restaurant, with prettyContinue reading “Busaba Eathai”
Duck & Waffle
on feb 28th, i met up with N for breakfast at Duck and Waffle. our reservation was for 9:30, but of course, as usual, we were running late so changed it to 9:45.
Polo Bar

Sweet
after leaving Searcy’s, Nahima and i walked over to Sweet — an adorable and aesthetic dessert place on Mile End Road.
Iris Bar by Searcy’s at the Gherkin
hi, lovelies! i hope you’re all having, or had, a great day! the majority of mine was spent with N — we met up for breakfast at Liverpool Street, and made our way to the Gherkin. kind of felt a little like stepping into all of my childhood dreams of what being an adult means.
Urban Chocolatier
one of my new-year’s-slash-new-decade’s resolutions is to eat healthier and be mindful of what i put into my body. this involves cutting back on sugar, junk food (with the exception of chocolates once a month) and other processed foods. so obviously i had to review one third of my favourite dessert places. (but i reallyContinue reading “Urban Chocolatier”
